For Non-Chinese Youth Participants (Aged 15 – 24)
- Is there any cost involved?
No – all of our project activities are completely free of charge. The project is fully funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
- What activities can I join, and how do I sign up?
We offer a wide range of activities—from school-based workshops to peer leadership training, outreach events, and volunteer opportunities. To see what’s currently available and how to get involved, please click here.
- What languages are the workshops conducted in?
Our workshops are primarily delivered in English, with optional support or delivery in Cantonese. If you prefer another language, please contact us here to discuss whether interpretation can be arranged.
- Do you offer therapy or counseling?
We do not offer counselling, therapy, or clinical mental health services. If you are feeling distressed or need support, we encourage you to reach out to mental health professionals.
- What research has the project produced?

For Parents or Guardians of Non-Chinese Youth
- What is this project about, and is it safe for my child to join?
This project promotes the mental well-being of non-Chinese youth aged 15–24 through research-informed, culturally sensitive workshops and outreach. All activities are designed and delivered by trained professionals, and we follow the university’s ethical guidelines and safeguarding practices.
- How can I support or stay informed about my child’s involvement?
We welcome parental support and are happy to provide general information about our programmes upon request. For privacy reasons, we do not share any personal identifiable data or participation details unless prior consent is given. If you would like to learn more, feel free to contact us directly.
- Is there any cost involved for families?
No – participation in all of our programmes is completely free, thanks to the generous funding from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

- How can I book a workshop or outreach activity for my organisation?

- Who are your trainers and how are they qualified?
Our trainers include Assistant Project Managers with training in psychology, mental health, and social work. We also engage external professionals with specialised expertise in areas such as workplace readiness or cultural inclusion. View our trainers.
- Can I preview the workshop content for quality assurance?
Yes. After confirming your booking, we are happy to provide a training plan that outlines session timing, structure, and activities. All content is evidence-based and informed by ongoing research and feedback.
- What are the minimum and maximum number of attendees?
We require a minimum of 10 non-Chinese youth participants aged 15–24. There is no fixed maximum. Our team can deliver workshops in small classroom settings or large assemblies and will tailor the approach to suit your venue and group size.
- How long do the workshops last?
Workshops typically last around 50 minutes, with flexibility to shorten or extend the session between depending on the training goals.
- What types of services do you offer?
