About the Event 

The Train-the-Trainer Training School is our highest level of engagement for non-Chinese youth in Hong Kong. Over 6 training sessions, participants will deepen their understanding of mental health, practise peer support skills, and develop leadership in community advocacy.

 

This intensive programme equips youth to return to their schools and communities as peer supporters and mental health ambassadors.

Who Should Join? 

  • Non-Chinese youth aged 15–24 in Hong Kong
  • Those interested in mental health, leadership, and advocacy
  • Previous workshop participants who wish to take on a youth ambassador role

What You’ll Experience 

  1. Across 6 sessions, participants will progress through a carefully designed ladder of learning:
  2. Foundations — Theoretical knowledge of mental health and well-being
  3. Skills — Role-plays, listening and communication, peer support practice
  4. Confidence — Speaking up, leading small groups, facilitation training
  5. Leadership — Advocacy planning, teamwork, and campaign design
  6. Action — Presentation of community advocacy initiatives
    • The full programme journey extends beyond the Training School:
    • Complete peer support case practices (real-world application with peers)
    • Plan and lead your own promotional events in your school or community
